Air Fryer Chicken Wings

  • 34g of chopped scallions
  • 10 chicken drummettes
  • A pinch of Kosher salt
  • Cooking spray
  • 5ml of fresh lime juice
  • 15ml of lower-sodium soy sauce
  • 2g of finely chopped fresh ginger
  • 2g of corn starch
  • 4g of finely chopped garlic
  • 10ml of honey
  • 4g of sambal (freshly ground chili paste)


  1. Using paper towels, dry the chicken surfaces before coating lightly with cooking spray.
  2. Relative to the size of your fryer, you could work in batches, arrange the drummettes sideways to give enough room between each piece.
  3. Under temperatures of 204°C, cook the chicken drummettes for 25 minutes until the skin is nice and crispy. Be sure to turn midway through.
  4. In a small frying pan, throw in the cornstarch and soy sauce then mix.
  5. Now put in the lime juice, sambal, honey, garlic, salt, and ginger before mixing and allowing the mixture to simmer into a thick paste.
  6. Once all the chicken pieces are done, put them in a bowl before coating them with the freshly prepared sauce.
  7. Sprinkle the scallions over and serve.
